Anna Wishneff (She/Her/Hers) is a clinical intern who has been with GAFC since January 2024. She is currently finishing her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Louisiana State University. Anna chose to pursue this degree and change careers 14 years after receiving her Bachelor’s in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida.
As a counselor, Anna utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and adopts a strengths-based approach with clients. Additionally, she has completed an intensive EMDRIA training program and is one of the GAFC interns currently practicing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with clients.
Anna has a particular interest in working with clients who are navigating life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, depression, anxiety, ADHD, chronic illness, and complex trauma.
In her free time, Anna enjoys cooking, baking, visiting the mountains, exploring different towns, and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.
