Cathy McQuade (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Master Social Worker who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. Cathy works out of our East Cobb location and also provides telehealth services. She works with adult individuals who are suffering from PTSD, Complex Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Complicated Grief Disorder, and Substance Use Disorder among other related issues. She has considerable experience working with women who have been sexually exploited or experienced other interpersonal violence.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy (both addiction and standard protocol), as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Addiction Counseling. She is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Cathy is dedicated to helping people recover from experiences which are preventing them from living their best life.
