Linda Tatum (She/Her/Hers), a Licensed Master Social Worker, serves as a therapist at our Decatur location and also offers telehealth services. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Capella University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Grambling State University. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Linda has called Atlanta home since 2008.
Linda takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. She is trained in EMDR and is currently working toward her EMDR certification. She treats clients experiencing PTSD, phobias, depression, and anxiety. Linda is especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and single mothers facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, child abuse/maltreatment, and the stressors of parenting children with special needs. As the mother of a child on the Autism Spectrum, Linda brings a personal understanding to her work with parents navigating similar experiences.
Her professional background includes roles as a school social worker and a mental health professional at the Morehouse School of Medicine. Combined with her personal experiences, including growing up in inner-city Detroit, Linda offers a wealth of insight and empathy to the therapeutic process.
