Lisa Coffey (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) who earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Working out of our Decatur location, Lisa offers both in-person and telehealth services. She employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities to assist adults and children dealing with anxiety, depression, growth challenges, and low self-esteem, among other issues. Passionate about creating a safe and supportive space, Lisa is committed to serving individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. She has considerable experience working with neurodivergent individuals and those with learning disorders, both individually and in groups. Lisa believes in celebrating the uniqueness of each person and supports their individual journeys.
In her personal time, Lisa enjoys being with her family and five fur babies —two dogs and three cats. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she loves gardening, walking, hiking, kayaking, and biking. Lisa is a firm believer in the restorative power of nature to soothe the soul.
