Melissa "Mona Lisa" LaFontaine (She/Her/Hers) is a counselor in training at Northwestern University, working out of the Decatur and East Cobb offices, as well as providing telehealth services. As a counselor, she is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in the field while balancing autonomy, uniqueness, and respect for each client's needs. Her goal is to assist clients in using their experiences and strengths to transform challenges into opportunities.
As a newcomer to the profession, Mona Lisa is actively exploring her niche. She is enthusiastic about helping clients uncover situations or circumstances that empower them to become their best selves and overcome hardships from relationships, experiences, or life circumstances. She employs a blended theoretical approach that is tailored to the individual and their specific needs.
