Ria Shah (She/Her/Hers) is a Georgia native who serves as a clinical intern at GAFC and is currently seeing clients virtually. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Georgia.
Ria is a dedicated student in the mental health field, with a particular interest in addressing substance use disorders, interpersonal conflicts, self-esteem issues, and academic pressures. Within the office, she combines her passion for helping others through administrative tasks, community outreach, and assisting in therapeutic sessions.
In her free time, Ria enjoys swimming, painting, watching movies, baking, and listening to Taylor Swift on repeat. Some of her favorite movies include Jurassic Park, Coraline, and Inside Out. Ria is committed to creating a supportive and understanding environment for clients, drawing from both her academic background and personal experiences.
