Wood (He/Him/His) has lived in many cities but considers Atlanta his home. His mental health journey began during his undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. In May 2024, he graduated from Valdosta State University with a Master of Social Work. Wood combines his systems-based problem-solving expertise with the person-in-environment approach of social work to provide high-quality mental health counseling.
Trained in EMDR, Wood incorporates principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, creating art, and spending time with his orange tabby, Lucy.
